Want to get involved or just be on the mailing list for events?

Drop us an email with “Membership” as the subject line, and our membership coordinator will get in touch as soon as possible.

Membership fees

Our annual membership fee is $25 for individuals or $50 for couples/families – works out to be less than a dollar a week!

There is also an option to join as social members$20 for individuals or $40 for couples/families (you’ll only receive emails about any events happening, you can bring your kitchen scraps to be composted, you can pick some herbs). You don’t need to do any work at the garden, but should not expect to share any of the produce (except from the herb area). If you prefer that option, just let us know, and we’ll not hassle you about doing any actual gardening.

You can pay a committee member in cash the next time you come to the garden, or simply transfer your membership fee to the account below:

Baringa Bush Community Garden Inc.

BSB: 062251

Account number: 10177365

Kindly remember to write “subs21” and your name in the reference box, so we know it’s you and what it’s for. You can also email us a copy of the lodgement receipt. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted.

* Did you know that every member working on site is insured? The insurance has been set up and paid for by current members and will be due again next July.

  1. To whom it may concern,
My father and i would like to consider membership of the community garden project.
We were looking at bringing compost waste to add to your bins, however we were wondering if we have to sign up to be members and what the membership subscription gives you access to.
We realise that things may take time to get back to normal.
    Thanks, Macey and Phillip 🙂

    1. Hi Macey
      Thanks for getting in touch.
We are a group of volunteers that run the garden. We share the work and the produce.
At the moment, we are only accepting compost from garden members.
To join there is a yearly fee of $50 for a family and we request that you attend at least 3 working bees .
If you would like to come along and meet some of the members and see what we do, there
is a garden bee this Sunday 28 June from 2pm – 5pm. Drop by any time
      Hope you can make it.
